“Dies Irae” by Kurt Wenner, created in Italy in 2007.

This street illusion painting (fitting the theme of the gallery) is absolutely beautiful. I am simply amazed at not only the perfection in the actual work, but in his ability to make the characters look so real. I love how the street actually seems to glow, as if burning sulphur is really below the streets.
